ACLU of Mississippi 40th Anniversary Banquet
ACLU national president Susan N. Herman will be keynote speaker for the ACLU of Mississippi's 40th Anniversary banquet in Jackson, at the Old Capitol Inn. The night will also honor ACLU clients and activists who have participated in some of our most important work over the years. Entertainment will be provided by Equal Temperament, a dynamic Jazz Band from Ole Miss.
Susan N. Herman, ACLU National President, will be keynote speaker for the ACLU of Mississippi's 40th anniversary dinner banquet. The banquet will be on June 26 at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson, beginning at 7:00 p.m. If you would prefer, you can also order tickets by calling the ACLU at 601-354-3408.
Ms. Herman, in addition to being national ACLU president, is a Centennial Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School and a widely regarded expert on the Supreme Court, particularly in the area of criminal procedure. Herman regularly speaks to judges and lawyers around the country on behalf of the Federal Judicial Center , bar associations, and CLE providers and appears in panel discussions on a range of issues at law schools and other venues.
